qmailcheck - an application to check multiple IMAP mail boxes

qmailcheck does one thing many times: looks for new mail in your IMAP mail boxes. If you get a lot of mail and split them into separate boxes (typically on the server side using procmail or sieve), then checking all the boxes can be tedious looking for important mail. qmailcheck solves this by:

• Produces a simple "one new message per line" summary of your new mail
• Highlights anything new since the last time you looked at the list
• Can optional perform special actions when new mail arrives in a folder:
  • Issue a system notification (e.g. a task-bar popup)
  • Pop the window forward
  • Flash the LED (N900)
  • Vibrate the device (N900)
